Gift Certificate

Exchangeable for an admission ticket and products in our gift shops and our restaurants. Available at the “Camp de Base” (in season) on the site of the Zoo or by calling at 1-877-472-6299.

We can reserve a space for your group and suggest packages adapted to your needs.

 

When making your reservation:

Be as accurate as possible regarding the number of people that will be making up your group, including how many children and adults.

In the event of rain, you can reschedule or cancel your group without incurring any charges as long as we are notified.

We recommand making your reservation at least two weeks in advance.

Important Information

The Zoo’s admission price includes free access to the Amazoo Yoplait water park and to some rides in the “Our Planet” amusement park.

There are no refunds in case of rain.

A friendly reminder:

A bracelet is given to the visitor at the admission booth. It must be worn around the wrist. The bracelet is non-transferable.


Granby Zoo is now a non-smoking zoo in all areas of its site, including the Amazoo Yoplait Water Park, with the exception of designated zones.

Companion animals are not allowed on the site.

Preserving our animals’ slim silhouette:

Visitors should be aware that the diets of all our animals were elaborated by a nutritionist. The Granby Zoo veterinarian modifies them as needed. To preserve the health of our animals, it is forbidden to feed them.

 

For the safety of our visitors, it is forbidden to:


- bring alcoholic beverages
- bring glass containers
- use scooters, roller-skates and skateboards
- use any kind of barbecue grill

Children under 13 years of age who are not accompanied by an adult will be denied access to the Zoo.  Moreover, the Zoo acquits itself of any responsibilities in regards to children under 13 years of age left to fend for themselves on the site, except for the responsibilities mentioned in its internal regulations; the Zoo might also take rightful action in the event of negligence on the part on the accompanying adult(s).

In case of an emergency or inclement weather, the Administration of the Granby Zoological Society reserves the right to temporarily close access to the site or to one of its components, during regular visiting hours, without any compensation to the visitor. At all times, the Granby zoological society reserves the right to limit access or close down some Granby Zoo components.

Anyone who disregards safety regulations and general site rules, specific to the facilities, will lose all privileges conferred by the bracelet, leading to immediate expulsion from the site.

Assistance Dogs

- Dogs or any other companion animals will not be allowed on the site of the Granby Zoo.

- Only dogs that have completed their training and are certified as assistance dogs can accompany their owners to the Zoo and Amazoo Yoplait water park sites. However, some areas are prohibited to dogs.

- In zones where dogs are not allowed, the visitor must leave the dog in the care of the accompanying Zoo employee for the time it takes to the owner to visit these areas.

- The visitor can request to be accompanied by a Zoo employee to be assisted at each zone where dogs are not allowed to personally accompany the visitor during the visit of these areas.

- In order to help us better plan your visit and ensure the availability of an escort designated by the Zoo, we strongly recommend that the visitor contact us at least 24 hours in advance by telephone at  450-372-9113 or the toll-free line at 1-877-472-6299.

 

Annual 2010 pass regulations

The annual pass issued by the Granby Zoological Society allows its owner unlimited access to the Granby Zoo, the Amazoo Yoplait Water Park* (closed during the winter) and

to the Monorail as well as to all mechanical rides* (all closed during the winter). *Some conditions apply.

The annual pass is valid from January 1st 2009 to December 31st 2010.

Upon presentation of their card, annual pass holders will receive a 15% discount at our restaurants and boutiques. Alcoholic beverages are not included in this discount. The card must be presented prior to the transaction.

The annual pass is valid only when used by its owner and should at no time be sold, transferred or exchanged; requests for refunds will not be accepted.

A photograph of its owner must appear on the annual pass. Only one pass can be assigned to an individual.

Upon presentation of his or her annual pass at the ticket booth, its owner will be given only one bracelet per day. The pass owner must wear his or her bracelet during the entire visit to be allowed access to the grounds. Resale of this bracelet is prohibited.

Lost cards can be replaced by the Granby zoological society at a cost of $10. In this event, the old pass number will be cancelled and a new number will be activated.

The pass cannot be combined with any other promotion.
