A non-invasive inventory method
Two species of flying squirrels share the Quebec territory. The southern flying squirrel is rarer and maybe even threatened. The northern flying squirrel is very abundant.
The two species cohabit in certain areas in southern Québec. The objective of this project is to determine a non-invasive inventory method, that is to say a way of monitoring both species only by their vocalizations.
